Re: Cycling

According to his progress map, Patrick is nearing the end of his long-distance fund-raising journey to Japan, having set off from Twickenham and cycled across Russia. The Rugby World Cup starts in less than 3 weeks' time - I hope he hasn't left his tickets at home!

Please contribute to Patrick's target of £250,000 for the World Cancer Research Fund and St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley.

Translucent Singing

Not our words, but those of composer John Rutter, describing a recent performance of Lauridsen's "Sure on this shining night". Similarly, international soprano Susan Gritton, listening to the English Arts Chorale sing the Rachmaninov "Vespers," spoke enthusiastically of "a very special sound." The Chorale's distinctive sound has delighted audiences at home and abroad.
